良いお年を！Happy Holidays!

早いものであと数日で２０１４年も終わり。
２０００年から１４年も経ったんだ、なんてことも思ったり。

先日、仕事の合間に近所の東京都庭園美術館の夜間公開*（*夜間公開は12/23-25）に行きました。一人でゆっくり時間を過ごすひと時は、忙しい年末だからこそ、より贅沢に感じられました。内装や家具にこだわった、アール・デコ建築の本館はもとより、現代的な新館もとても魅力でした。
次回の展覧会は新年１月１7日から「幻想絶佳：アール・デコと古典主義」展がはじまります。

慌ただしい年末にほっと一息する時間も、良いものです。

At the close of a year, I went to the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum in Shirokanedai.
After three years of renovations and restoration, they reopened since last month.
The main building is the Former Prince Asaka Residence with beautiful Art Deco design and Annex located beside the main building, modern white cube exhibition galleries.
It was really nice to spend such a precious time at the end of the year…
