ジャム。Strawberry Jam

小さなイチゴが店頭に並んでいるとジャムが作りたくなる。
家中甘い香りでいっぱいになる。
砂糖をまぶしてしばらくすると水分が出てくる。
じっくりコトコト、アクを丁寧にとりながら煮ていく。
春の色だなぁ・・・
I found small strawberries at the green-grocer.
Small but very sweet…let’s make a jam with fresh strawberries!
Add sugar and wait for a while until enough moisture comes out from strawberries.
Simmer strawberries in a heavy pan and skim off the scum carefully.
Add some lemon juice just before you turn off the heat.
Lovely red color!!
