第３弾の六畳ブックさんとのイベント、先週無事に終了しました。お越しくださった皆さま、ありがとうございました！
お天気も回復し、日が落ちてからはテラスで花火もしました。
花火なんて久しぶりでしたが、夏の終わりを感じる良い時間でした。。。
秋の夜長に読む本を探したり、器を選んだり、飲み物片手におしゃべりしたり、皆さま思い思いにゆったり時を過ごされていたように思います。今回は（も？）のび猫副店長は、どこかに身を隠しておりましたが、ぬく店長は大活躍！
また次回のイベントでお会いしましょう〜

Thank you very much for coming to the events.
It seemed that each one had a really good time to chosen the books, items of LOCCA, talking, etc..
We also enjoyed fireworks after dark.
We’ll hold another event with Rokujo Book in sometime in the near future.

We’ll be holding LOCCA and ROKUJYO BOOK collaboration event on September 2 (Sat.)!
ROKUJYO BOOK operating used books website shop in Tokyo.
We both don’t have an existing shop but on that day, we are going to have a collaboration pop-up shop at ROKUJYO BOOK!
You can find various kinds of used books and beautiful Japanese pottery, other handicrafts with a special summer drink.

No reservation needed.
If you’ll bring two used books, one drink will be offered

暑夏

すでに激暑の東京ですねぇ。
自家製ジンジャーエールをごくごく飲みながらブログを書いております。。
パリに住む友人夫妻が一時帰国しており、アジャンのドライプルーンを買ってきてくれました。
いつも頼んでしまうのは食品ばかり・・・
日本ではアメリカ産のプルーンが主流ですが、アジャンの方が断然好み。
メーカーによって味も柔らかさも違うのですが、果肉の酸味も感じられフルーティーなこちらのプルーン、モロ好みです。
モノプリのアプリコットと共にヨーグルトに。
少年の笑顔に期待感が増します。
I’ve got my favorite prune from my friend who living in France.
I always ask them to buy Prune of Agen when they return to Japan temporarily.
Very fruity and it has moderate sourness.
It is still hard to find a prune of France in Japan. Many of them are from U.S.
And I like smiling boy on this package, too 😀
杏ジャム
Apricot jam

杏が出回っています。でもあっという間に見かけなくなるので、見つけたら買い！です。
長野県・千曲市産。見るだけで唾液が・・・
簡単に作れるジャムをご紹介します。
杏の半量を目安にグラニュー糖を用意しておきます。
あとは杏を洗って、皮付きのまま半分にカット。タネをとります。
ホウロウや銅鍋に杏とグラニュー糖を入れ、しばらく水が出てくるまで置いておきます。
火にかけます。機器によって差があると思いますが、中火から強火で一気に煮ることが最大のポイントです。
ひるまず強い火で煮ることで、たくさん水分が出てきます。
ハネることもあるので、気をつけながら絶えず鍋底を手前から向こうへ、ヘラを動かします。
だんだん様子が変わってきます。煮上がりのタイミングは、水分が飛んで、とろみを感じるようになったら、でしょうか。
あまり煮詰めすぎると冷えた時にガチガチに固まってしまうので、これは何度かやってみるしかないかもしれません。
長期保存には煮沸消毒した瓶などに入れて。
クリームチーズに乗せて食べると即席なんちゃってチーズケーキ❤️
炭酸で割って甘酸っぱい杏ドリンクとしても。
You can find apricot now but apricot season is really short. So you should buy it when you find some!
I made apricot jam which is one my favorite jam 😀
Very easy to make. Prepare granulated sugar of the half quantity of the apricots.
Cut them in half and remove the seeds. Put it all together in a large pot and put on the fire.
Once you’ll get it to a rolling boil, you’ll get more liquid in the pan.
Stir often to prevent sticking and burning.
Most important thing is to cook it over Mid Heat until the jam becomes viscous.
Enjoy early summer sweet sour taste!!
クラフトフェア探訪
Crafts Fair Matsumoto

先週末、長野県松本市のクラフトフェアに初めて行ってきました。
お天気にも恵まれ、沢山のご家族連れ等で賑わっていました。
あがたの森公園の広い敷地内にテントが並び、食べ物の屋台も出ていて
1日いてもめいっぱい楽しめるイベントです。
作家さんも長野近郊の方だけでなく、九州など遠くからも出展
されていらっしゃいました。
木工製品が多かったのが印象的でしたね。
「工芸の五月」と称し、5月は松本を中心に美術館や博物館、各店舗などで
様々な企画展が開かれており、地域と工芸の深い関わりに触れたり見たりすることができます。
松本は市内中心部だけでも徒歩圏内で楽しめる場所が沢山あります。
信州牛、お蕎麦などの美味しい食べ物、雰囲気のある喫茶店、
おしゃれな雑貨店、白壁の美しい通り、松本城、北アルプス、満点の星空、
のんびり工芸にふれる旅も良いのではないでしょうか。
日中は暑くても夜は気温が下がるので、個人的には夏の温泉もオススメです!
I visited the Crafts Fair Matsumoto (Nagano prefecture) on last weekend.
Crafts Fair Matsumoto is held every year on the last weekend of May and is one of the biggest and arts & crafts fairs in Japan.
Those days were blessed by the weather and found pottery, leatherwork, woodwork product, clothing, jewelry, etc., handmade and sold by artisans (around 280 artists) from all over Japan in beautiful Agata-no-mori Park.
Matsumoto is the very fascinating city. You can enjoy local specialty foods, such as soba, Shinshu beef, sake, miso, fruits or many famous tourism spot; Matsumoto-jo Castle, beautiful street with whitewashed wall building and you can also enjoy outdoor activities, hot spring, etc. The temperature difference is extreme in Matsumoto, even in summer. So I highly recommend hot spring in summer!
